Really. Why do we as woman enjoy being mistreated. Why do we think we can "save" a bad boy from his wild ways. Are we not just setting ourselves up for heartache by falling for these types of men?!?

I think it's our arrogance in the end that makes us think we can save them. Think about the heartbroken mother whose son keeps getting in trouble, we women, have the biggest hearts and take the highest risks, just to have that love and save someone from themselves.
I don't enjoy being mistreated, I just thought I could save them, but in the end, I had to save myself.

They trick us! They're not bad to begin with, and when we threaten to leave, they change really quick. Plus, we don't think they'll treat us that way....they LOVE us. ANd, it's fun to change someone...especially after we make them see their rotten ways, and they change for the better; it's nice to see we had a hand in that. But in between all that, they're fun...they keep us on our toes. Will they be good, or bad? Naughty or nice? Then there are "other" rewards that we are promised...those can make us wonder what we would expect next. They're not boring. Then there's the fact that if other girls want him...then he must be a good thing...we don't relize they've already got him. But it's fun just to lay claim on ur property...especially at the time if he says he's not going anywhere...we feel special....for the moment. But all that fades after a while, and we just want someone we can trust, and be mellow with...because our idea of fun changes after a while. It's the same with bad girls and boys...they like the racey types at first...but then later, they want someone who'd stick around for a while...and they like the idea of not having to fight men off with a stick because they can be secure with their women. Just my opinion

Because bad boy are confident and don't care about you at all. Deep down women love this and can't help going back for more. As much as women always say they want to marry a nice guy, they want a fling with a bad boy even more.

Thank God finally a woman who gets it!! I never though I would live to see this day arrive. I have been asking myself that same question for years. I mean why do they? There are so many good wonderful loving kind and nice men out there. Yet they always go for the losers in the bunch.

This is a question that I have wrestled with my whole life. I am a "nice guy" who isn't interested in being "fixed" but in finding a partner who will want to walk beside me.
I was told once that by a girl that she wouldn't date me cuz "you aren't dangerous"....
Personally I think its the danger... its a rush to be with a guy who might kiss you or might hit you.... women think they can "save" a guy... or change him... and in the end, they usually end up just hurt and disaffected... turned off by men all together... when the ENTIRE time they knew a guy who would have treated them like a princess instead of a punching bag...

Yes, women like to be with guys who are jerks. Most often, it's because they wish to enjoy the drama, have great, passionate sex, and have plenty of attention for being with a jerk. There is also a need for women to perfect their skills at manipulation with guys they cannot care about so that they can torture us nice guys when they get older and have less physical appeal. That way, they can coerce a decent guy into taking care of them when they're older and less attractive.
It really sucks being a nice guy.......

its the cave man and woman in us all, you want a guy to drag you by the hair to the cave, thats how we evolved for 20 million years, the guy who counted the coconuts didnt get the girl the bad a*s who beat up the coconut counter got the woman, this is why so many woman have a rape fantasy, but not many have a penny loafer fetish

Because they are HOT and FUN. Perfection and niceness always comes to a crashing halt. This way, you get SOME fun out of it. At least thats what my girlfriend tells me. I think bitches just like getting slapped around.
