If you see a cell phone on the streets, would you pick it up?

..Just thoughth i'd ask. I notice one, it looked functional, like someone just dropped it. Instead of picking it up, i kept walking. Wonder if that was wrong? Like if i'd picked it up, i could find out who had lost it and return it to them.

i did find one once..ccalled the provider to find out if they could call the owner,they wouldnt so i held onto it and maybe 4 hours later the owner called her phone and i told her where i found it and she came and got it

Over the past two years, I've found four cell phones on the gym floor by various weight machines. I just return them to the front desk. I figure someone will call the gym when they get home.

yes, you'd pick it up and return it to the closest police station for lost and found.

You could also try checking on the phone for any numbers or info to try and identify who's it was but that is best left to the authorities.

I found a cell phone in the grass outside of school, and I brought it to the school office so they could return it to the person.

Yeah, I would, only to turn it in or call someone in it and give it to a friend, or mom or dad in the phone....dont beat urself up, its too late now, oh well

I would put it on the sidewalk so that it wouldn't get run over and hopefully the owner would come and find it
