how do i know if this is just an ingrown hair or something more serious?

Maybe it is an infected hair follicle. Have you put neosporin on it?

Try soaking it with a warm washcloth for a while, maybe several times a day. If it doesn't come to a head in a couple of days I would go the the doc. Or maybe an urgent care center or something.

Ingrown hair. Has it grown any? If or when it does, I'd wax that baby. Not give it a chance to do that again!

come on that is a lump that means bump on your boobs so maybe you have a cancer or something go to see your doctor for mammography to check that out OK what you talk about your normal hair or public hair eh OK go to see your doctor do something if you don't go to doctor sooner then you Will have breast cancer OK just put on your clothes on and get shoes and coat on then ride your car, vrrooom vrrooom vroom to hospital to see your doctor then you get ten points eh just kidding but come on go there and find out OK bye then and good luck

it may just be a hair bump, keep the area clean and dry. go see a gyno doctor to make sure that it's just a bump and not a lump. you may need antobotic to help it heel faster.

put hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and dab it.
then put neosporen on it.
it is hopefully just an ingrown hair and it will heal up.

probably just an ingrown hair. why did you shave it? If you have a hair why not tweeze it?

You should see a doctor. Anytime something won't heal means you should see a doctor.

well if it hasnt healed in a LONG time it might be serious and u might want to see a dermatoligist... pardon me i dont know how to spell it :) and if it has tetxure i reccomended gettin it checked... better safe then sorry :D
