They need a good moist bed for her to lay her eggs as if not she may lay them in the water boll. Have a good deep bed of vermiculight and partially submerge the eggs.. This will help to keep the humidity up and stop them from clasping. Don’t let the eggs got damp as this will causes them to become mouldy. Goto my web site u will get some tips of there.

I use bed-a-beast and moss for the nesting boxes. Bed-a-beast is shredded coconut husk. It makes for a nice bedding that they can dig into. I use a straight perlite mixture for my eggs, burying them in the damp perlite until only the tops show. Perlite won't drown eggs as readily as vermiculite if you should mis-calculate on the water ratio. Why are you breeding this snake if you don't have even the basics on what to do with them? What are you going to do with the babies once they hatch? Do you have a way to ship them to buyers or are you just going to dump them at a petstore? If the female egg binds, do you have a reptile vet you can go to?

I would use damp moss in the laying chamber rather then vermiculite. Damp vermiculite really clings to everything, she will be covered in it. It will be all over her eyes and heat pits.
I use vermiculite only for the incubation chamber. You will need about 1 1/2 to 2 inches.
