Find a place to snuggle down for the night and stay there at work until morning when others will arrive and help join in the search.

Best thing to do when you are "lost" is to stay where you are until others can help you.

Call a locksmith to open the door.
Plan a little more for the next time.

It may have been theft.
Report missing ID and credit cards.
Call the police if it is government ID.
Change the locks.

Worse case, break into your own place.
Then repair what you damage.

Being that you got home i will assume that you did not drive home. so going back to work would be hard. But because you posted this question i will assume you are home or some place where you can be comfortable. but i personal would go back and get them or wait until the best opportune time to get them.
