I've seen your answers to the circumcision questions and really like them. Now I'm no expert but it makes me sad how there's a lot of information out there. I mean the evidence about infections and such does not seem very convincing at all. Studies from Africa, where the risk of HIV infection might be decreased slightly? You're still playing with fire, and you still need to practice safe sex, even if you've had a bit cut off. Not to mention, it's like cutting off a baby's nipples so they don't get breast cancer. I'm a girl and admittedly haven't screwed enough guys of both types to really be able to give a personally informed comment regarding smells and all. But I am anti-circumcision especially on kids without their consent, it's rare where I am, and personally I find an uncirced one more attractive, and definitely not gross. Women smell too. Everyone smells if they don't wash. We aren't living in the desert 500 years ago, I can see the circumcision point back then.

My husband isn't circumcised- its fine by me. We chose not to have our son circumcised as well.
Many are misinformed- and when I made the decision to skip the procedure on my son- I had a few comments-.
Don't worry about what others say- The only difference between circumsised and non- is you could get an infection underneath the foreskin if not cleaned properly- but hey circumsized penis' can get infections too.! Either way- if someone doesn't use proper hygeine they'll smell!
Be happy with what you have =) Take care of it- and ignore what people say =)

Nope, you're not the only one. It's really quite frustrating that people think it could be so hard to clean and/or keep clean, because it really isn't. And most of the time there's no smell (at least none that I could detect). It's just really annoying having to deal with those kinds of questions.
And some articles (see links below) don't help the cause of uncircumcised men at all. Even then there's a lot of misinformation to the point where sometimes it's maddening.

You have expressed well the frustration a lot of us feel. I bet there was a time when Chinese girls whose feet had not been bound were told that they would have all sorts of horrible consequences.
I have never heard of a woman who's been with a natural man and still prefers cut guys -- it just doesn't happen. Only people without any real experience think there is something wrong about keeping all your man parts.

Don't worry, the current opinion is that circumcision is unnecessary, and it is not that hard to clean an uncircumcised penis.

Well, I am circumsised, and I don't really think it matters what type of penis a man has. I mean, I feel attracted to men regardless of wether they are circumsised or not. And no they are not really smelly, they smell like the persons body odor if they are not washed.

THANK YOU
I'm annoyed by it as well
and for gstorm8626: thats probably a survey in the United States, but worldwide women prefer uncut, and most women that have had cut and uncut say they prefer uncircumsized.

As a nurse, I often see circed and uncirced. It's a lot more common than you would think. There's not much difference. Don't worry about it.

You mean like people saying "cottage chesse" and "torpedo" when refering to the Penis. Yeah that gets annoying. It really isn't that hard to keep your thing clean.

its just as annoying to see people use words like trauma and mutilation in regards to people being circumsized.
I dont think it matters much athough some research suggests that Uncircumsized men have a higher risk of getting HIV.. and the only thing the other group has is that circumsision leads to some kind of loss of feeling which has been found untrue.
