i just purchased my elite about 5 days ago for 479.99 from target. Now i'm hearing all of these rumors about a price drop within the next month. If there is a drop can i get my the difference back?

they gave me i think a 60 warranty from them and a 3 year warranty from Microsoft.

well the xbox 360 is going to have a price drop in august but i think it is only for the core and premium systems not the elite.
the price drop is going to be a round 40 to 80 dollars. unfortunatly i think it does not apply to the xbobx 360 elite. u also said you got it from target. so if there is a price drop they probably wont give u the difference back. HOWEVER if you bought the system at best buy they would have givin you the difference back if the drop in price happened 30 days or less after your purchase. because that is Best Buys polocy. I am about 90 % sure that there will be a price drop in august. and i am about 95% sure of best buys polocy.

There were a lot of rumors of an XBOX 360 price drop swirling before E3. They turned out not to be true. The same is probably true with these new rumors you are hearing. But you never know what might happen after the PS3 dropped in price.
Most stores have 30 day price guarantees. After that, you are probably out of luck.

Most retailer's offer a 30 day low Price guarantee just check the back of you receipt or can the retailer.

i wish they would give u the difference if u return it now and then buy it when the price drops then u can have the difference.

stupid question. why would they give u ur difference back??
microwaves first sold for thousands of dollors, now they sell for 20 dollors or less, should all those who bought it for thousands get the difference back!?!? its called marketing-getting people to give u money
