On Newegg, the motherboard I'm buying says "Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets."

The RAM I've bought says 2.1V for voltage and 5-5-5-12 for timing. Will it work, or should I cancel the order while I still can?

Yeah well as his amazing experience didn't help him answer this question. It will not fry the RAM or the motherboard, since at the worst the RAM would be undervolted, meaning it just plain wouldn't work, no danger of frying however. You need to find out if the motherboard you bought allows you to adjust the RAM voltage, quite a lot of them do and if that is the case, you will be fine. You can find this out my going to the manufacturers site and downloading the manual, the info will be in there. If you want, you can IM me the model number of the motherboard and I can look it up for you.

it might work, but you could have some stability issues, inless you under clock the speed of the ram (700MHz might work)
