I know "Hard As a Rock" was the first song listed on their debut release as the order it was in. As far as the actual first song they messed around with upon getting together? I don't know. If ya ever run into Guitarist Mick Sweda , i bet he'd probably remember. I know that Ted Templeman produced that record, and suposedly had Mick playing through Eddie Van Halen's old Marshall amp, the same one that was used to record the first Van Halen record, could be...it's very close sounding.

Hard As A Rock and Smooth Up In Ya are the first two songs in their discography. I'm assuming the latter was their breakthough.

The first one I remember and one of my favorites is "Smooth Up in Ya". They also did a kick-azz version of the Ojay's "For the Love of Money". They were a great, under-rated band.

I doubt it's the "first" one they "played" but I assume you're asking what song was a hit off their first album. I believe it was "Smooth up in ya".

They never bothered to invite me to their practice sessions, but their first hit was indeed Smooth Up In Ya.
