I mean why, everytime I look up there is another day. I am sick of another day of going to work. I don't want to go to work. I would rather die, then go to work. I don't want to drive to work. It is better for me to go on to heaven and be with God, so I will never have to work. As soon as I am not busy I should go on with the plan.

This is obviously about much more than your job. Clearly, you are dissatisfied with life in general. There are more possibilities to life than may immediately be obvious to us. You should take time to reflect on what you really want and pursue that. There is no point in pursuing dreams that are only making you miserable. These usually stem from a conflict between following society's expectations and following one's own true desires.
Also, you mentioned being with God. I take it you are contemplating doing the irreparable. I am a complete stranger to you, but I am reading this as one human's cry of distress. I can only tell you that I have heard you and that I urge you not to do that. You may need to consult a professional. Depending what your financial situation is, now might be a good time to take some time off and reflect on what it is YOU want to do. The solution is often right under our noses.

Take good care of yourself and God bless.

When I was younger I tried desperately to make things work in my life, including working a job i despised, trying to maintain a relationship that was failing, and keeping friends that weren't really friends. One day everything came crashing down around my ears. I found myself jobless, homeless and friendless in a beautiful beach town. I was never so happy as I was then, living in my car, sleeping in the beach parking lot, with no bills to pay, no one to please and all the free time in the world. All I thought about was where I would get my next meal. It was really quite liberating.
Bottom line: Don't go through life miserable, but don't commit suicide. Find the one thing that makes you happy and commit yourself to that wholeheartedly, regardless of whether others think that its the only way to live a "successful" life.

you work to pay bills and if your lucky enough to have a little left over for fun then it was all worth it.
they say enjoy youth while you have it, but I say work your butt off in School to get a good job then work your butt off at work, and enjoy life when you retire, the kids are grown, and then sell the house, buy an RV and travel on your retirement. Now that is when life really starts.
dont worry, your working for some thing, your working for the better years of retirement.

Work is a fact of life. Unless you live off the land, you're basically stuck with "work". Work is monotonous. You go to work, you do your job, at the end of the day, you collect your bag of food, and return to your stall. Yes, work is, well....work.

Ask John Locke. You should read Lewis Mumford's "The Condition of Man" it is a hefty work but it will definately answer your question.

You don't have to. You could commit suicide as you describe.

It is your choice.

Although, any job that makes you that miserable is not worth having. Changing one's job seems a little more rationale as a problem solving strategy rather than ending one's life. Again, it is your choice.
