My printer is automatically printing the alingment page as and when I switch it on in addition to taking so much time in printing the first document for which I give command.
I have been advised that I should reinstall it. I understand that I can uninstall it by going to add or remove programs. Could you explain the step by step procedure of installing it as I am not much conversant with the computer methods and techniques.

after uninstalling the program locate the original cd that was provided with the printer, then put in a a cd drive and it shoudl auto run
if you dont have a cd then go to www.hp.com and enter the modle number of the product and it will locate the drives and software for you

Just put in your cd that came with printer.And you dont have to uninstall it first.There is a repair section on most printer programs.Even if not you just reinstall it over other one,it will only be one when your done.
