Depends on who you ask. Canseco's book lists a number of his former teammates. Pudge, Juan Gonzalez, McGwire, Palmeiro. Purists might say everyone who played from 1998-2005 could have used. We may know a lot more after the Balco deal is wrapped up. Also, Giambi under fire. Investigations will go on for years. The sad part is, at the end of a lot of current players' careers, we will look back and say, "Man, he was great, but what if he did use?" I love Todd Helton, Luis Gonzalez and others, but their numbers were inflated during the said time period. How else do you explain Rich Aurilia going from MVP home run hitter to utility infielder with no bat? Sticky situation- wish it never surfaced, but we have to deal with it as time passes. Can't imagine what will become of history and records and such if some of today's greats are proven to be users (Bonds, especially, but also Sosa, McGwire, too.) Do we revert back to Maris and the number 61? Quite a dilemma.

Admitted steroid users include Ken Caminiti, Jose Canseco, Wally Joyner, none of whom is an active player.
Players who failed MLB's testing included: Alex Sanchez, Jorge Piedra, Agustin Montero, Jamal Strong, Juan Rincon, Rafael Betancourt, Rafael Palmeiro, Ryan Franklin, Mike Morse, Carlos Almanzar, Felix Heredia, Matt Lawton, Yusaku Iriki, Jason Grimsley, Guillermo Mota, and Juan Salas.
Other players about whom there has been compelling evidence of use, short of a positive drug test, are: Barry Bonds, Gary Sheffield, Jason Giambi, Jeremy Giambi, Benito Santiago, Armando Rios, Jason Grimsley, Mark McGwire, Iván RodrÃguez, and Juan González, as well as several lesser-known players. Several of these admitted use in closed court testimony that was later leaked, though none has publicly admitted use.

What is it with people that say "unless they failed a test!"
a. The Steriods prodiuced by Balco were designed not to be detectable! So even if you told them you took it, your tests would show your clean!
b. The shame that is MLB testing (urine!) which is the least likely way to notice anything abnormal! Blood testing is the best way to test and the Union won't allow it! (Even with blood tests, the chemists for steroids are so far ahead of the tests to show you've taken steroids its impossible to catch up!)
Anyways for your list! Remember the old baseball cards? The ones with the checklists! Get a complete set of those and randomly cross off 1/4 of the players most others were likely on something!

For most fans it is just names that they come up with in their own minds based on absolutely no facts of any kind. The only way to know is when MLB releases the names of those that test positive in the MLB/Union drug testing program.

Canseco
Rafel Palmerio
Jason Giambi
Canseco said Pudge did but I think he's jealous of Pudge's talent!

Everybody in every sport is an ALLEGED steroid user. It doesn't matter until you fail the drug test.
