You can have clothing, personals, your money etc. This is something completely outside of essential survival things. It's personal and possibly emotionally charged. What is it and why?

among the things that go with me wherever I am are my memories, and though priceless, they also are easy to carry with me. Maybe too easy--I would like to leave all the bad memories behind.
Outside of essential, physical things....hmmm.....a handmade afghan that my grandmother made, and a rocker that my great grandfather made. pictures of family and friends.
my address book, so I don't have to start over from scratch with all the addresses and phone #s of friends and family.
guess that is more than one thing....

My wife. If I can have her, I can replace everything else. If she's not allowed, then my cat.
The reason for this is that with her (wife or cat) I have a connection to who and what I am as a person. All things are replaceable, but if you replace everything in your life, are you still the same person?
Our choices define us as human beings. I prefer to treasure the uniqueness of other person(s) close to me rather than any one thing that I have acquired over time (and yes cats have personalities, which is why I classify them as persons).

I would take a picture of everyone I love because even if the only way I could see them is in a picture... I wouldn't want to forget what they look like.

Ok, i take the money, its essential for your crazy idea, and it´ll serve to u, cuz u will need to buy food, and maybe pay in a hotel or motel or someplace when u need live.

my laptop. I can do everything on it, and if I get a tuner card I can watch tv too. Plus i have pictures of my family and lots of memories of all the stuff that me and my family have done. I have to have my memories with me, that's important.
