My speakers were working fine, but they had to be unplugged, and when I plugged them back in, I got this "no audio device found" error every time I try to play MP3s and no souds will play except system sounds. The speakers are plugged into the right port on the computer and into the sub, and the sub is plugged into the wall. The speakers are Creative SBS 390, and I'm using Windows XP media.

first you will have to find out what make and model the sound card is, then go to the manufacturer's website and download the proper drivers for the sound card

it has nothing to do with ur speakers. U need to find the model of the Audio card ( sound card ) and go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers.

Your speakers don't require a driver. If you could give the name of your Sound Card, someone may be able to help you with finding drivers for that, which is what you need.

You need drivers for your sound card, NOT your speakers! Your speakers are just fine! "No audio device" means "no sound card found!"

(Research shows SBS390 is regular 2.1, not USB speakers, so it would NOT have any drivers!)

as everybody has already said, speakers dont use drivrs, but i would suggest taht since the problems started when you unpluged the speakers that maybe the soundcard became unseated from is slot, take off teh side of the case and remove teh soundcard then re fit it ... that might solve your problems
