That should only be used on a guinea pig under a vets supervision. The wet skin may prevent total absorption.

Any medication should only be used and the eye of a vet. If the vet has prescribed it (make sure that this vet is cavvy savvy) then yes it is fine to use. In terms of whether to use it with wet hair, consult your vet. Listen to Memphisgal and read the care, emergency/medical pages on guinea lynx, you should be very careful when giving medicine to guinea pigs as too much of certain medicines can kill them. I would assume this would be, because the water would dilute the product. The box itself says that you can bath the animal after it has been administed so I think its more of a precaution then anything rlse.
