I am thinking of buying a new laptop and I will use it mostly for school and sometimes for games, should i go windows, or mac?

well since most games are windows based i'd go windows to use most games on a mac you have to buy an additional program. plus no computer is safer than any other all have potential for viruses.

I recommend Windows XP, since it is the most used processor by people. There are also many sites that have downloads that don't work for Mac. There are some softwares and games that don't work on the Mac, so you are better with a windows XP. Windows is easier to use as well. When you need to search some help/guide/or search how to do something it will be easier to find it on an XP.

Ive learned for safety mac is so much better because most virus's and spyware dont work on macs from some reason ( some computer dude told me) and you can run windows programs on macs to i think vista can go on there but im not sure, it think its just like games, and word and other things

If school and games are all you will be using it for then I would suggest a Mac. But keep in mind that Macs are much more expensive than a Windows OS.

Mac give you the freedom to use Windows o Mac OS system,,,and right now there are a lot less expensive...

Mac is mainly best for designing and creating new things, but a Windows will work just fine for school. Just make sure it has a big memory for your games, otherwise you will get a lot of pausing in between things.

i have had both
MAC all the way, no viruses, better programs

once you've had mac you never go back

I say window is your best. there are more thing you can do on windows
