The stem shot up in about 3 days with about 5 flowers on the top of it but i dont know what its called. I want more but dont know what kind it is! HELP

Believe it or not, they are called naked ladies. Naked Ladies = Surprise lily, Lycoris squamigera

We always called them surprise lilies, I'm not sure if that the real name, but they pop up over night and in different places.

My granny called them Naked Ladies. The proper name is Belladonna Lily, or Amaryllis belladonna.

In my neck of the woods they are called "Surprise Lillies" or "Resurrection Lillies". Naked Ladies is a new one to me. Guess it all depends on where they pop up at.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but can't think of the name! I would just call a nursery in your area and they will know. In my yellow pages, they're under "nurseries".

i know of them as surprise flowers. they seem to just shoot up overnight and bloom without u even seeing them grow. they are a fun *surprise*!
