As I just watched him hit another HR, I was reminded how much of an amazing player he is and how often he doesn't get the credit he's due. Thoughts?

I completely agree with JA 29 and nyyanks26. He's an all around incredible player.

Unlike Mr. Bobby Abreu who is having a horrible year as I just watched him go 0-4 again. If he had reached base, he would've set it up for Arod to get #500 as a game winning walk off homerun.

Oh well. This question is about Posada, who happened to go 2-4 with 2RBI's and a homer. He's amazing!

I think that Posada is a great catcher. He should have his number retired by the Yankees when he calls it a career.

That is true that he isnt getting any credit outside of new york i havent heard his name all year and i thoroughly follow baseball and he is having a great season. Its good to give credit where credit is due and he deserves credit but it has all been overshadowed by we all know arods 500th Bonds chase which all people should be watching whether they like binds or not. The yankees arent having there typical year so that may have something to do with it.

Some as Puerto Rico natives and most Yankees fans loves him. Most Puerto Rico people loves Detroit Tigers catcher, Pudge. Pudge was the greatest catcher now in the league as began the All-Star Games two times in a row. Pudge still as the runner-up of catcher to Pudge in all-star games ballet.
