What makes one person see the joy in life and another can't? What do you think are the reasons?

in my opinion the ones who are happy are content with their lives and can accept whatever happens and tries to find the best in every situation. people who don't love their lives are just jealous and envious of the ones who do love life.

It is what they have learnt Breezy. Many have been taught to see the joy in life, and have taken to the lessons like a duck to water. The others? Well they just haven't been taught about it all. What they have learnt is that life is a dreaded drudgery, or you have to look out for # 1 (which produces a slew of personal problems), or they have been taught that the world is out to get them.
No one taught them better. They haven't learnt the values of life's great treasures, and if they have been taught? Well they obviously haven't passed the test now have they? They didn't take to the lessons at all.

I think perhaps insecurities and choosing money over what the person loves. I don't make a lot of money, but I'm pretty happy and content because I really like what I'm doing. I have a friend who is stressed, hates his job, and can't wait until he can retire. He chose his career so he could make a lot of money. I think that is a big part of it.

i think if you are living in God you see the joy of living.. and even the joy of dying because you know what will come next.

Brain chemistry more than any thing.
Also, contrary to popular opinion, more money does not equate to happier lives. The happiest people are the poor; maybe because more of them have a clear conscience.

There were times in my life that were so bad I just wanted to die. But Christ intervened, took me back and turned my mourning into joy!

There are some people do not like their life like me because we are doomed to die. For me, life is unbearable because there is pessimitic and depression every time hovering my mind. There is resentment and saddness,so, that is the reason.
