Guys .. do you even care what color polish? LOL.?

Question

I know, silly Q.. but, I'm doing my nails for a date tomorrow afternoon.. and I'm sitting here staring at the line up of nail polish - do I wear the pink or the red.. ? What does the color say about me? LMAO.. then, I thought - do they even care? Do you even notice?

P.S. Asking in divorce, because recently divorced and not sure about the "dating" scene with mature people.. (ie not teens)

That is a tough one.... I think there are many men that wouldn't even notice if you didn't have nails.... and then there are others that will notice you've painted your nails. Some may not remember the "color" but will remember that you looked good, and that is something that helped complete your pacakage.

I think people look better tan.... so I've said to my husband before, if you had two similar woman walking down the street together..... one as white as a ghost and the other with a nice tan, you would look at the tan one....
I think the same thing goes for a women well put together (jewelry, nails painted, perfume etc.).

No, "guys" don't notice that kind of stuff, but a "man" might.

If I had it to do all over again, I would notice everything about a woman. I look back on my relationships and realize that I was an insensitive clod and would've done a lot better in life if I had not been paying so much attention to me and more attention to others. I don't know why some of the women I dated had any interest in me at all. What a jerk.

Oh, well. Live and learn. Anyway, if the "guy" notices, he might be a keeper.

When I was younger I preferred pink to red, I thought that red looked "whore-ish". Now that I'm older I like the red just as well. With that said though I'd recommend pink. It's a safer color.

Guys don't notice that kind of stuff. We don't notice most of what a woman does to make her self up(though we notice if she does not).A guy is just going to see you..physically. Only way a guy would normally see your nail polish is if you put your hand near your chest(or face).

In general--pink=young/girly and red=hot/flirty/sexy...and black is just weird.

I seriously doubt they'd care or really take much note of the color (most men anyway) unless it was something funky like blue or green or gold. It's rare that I've ever had a guy comment on my nails (other than length, because they naturally grow long)

Hey lets be friends Wildflower. One of the tiny things that a woman in general turns me on, more than sex, is that fingernail polish deal. I love a woman in general who dress up very very nice and elegant. Huge plus for a woman to look very very very nice, before a gentleman.

Different guys like different things, if he's a nice simple down to earth guy, might I suggest NOT black lol .... I think nice light colours are perfect, subtle is better, your nails aren't screaming look at me look at me I'm a high maintenance woman.

Red is my personal favorite because it's "pretty" and not so "pink" if I may. My girlfriend has always worn red and tried pink and it just didn't fit. She's beautiful, smart, and very sexy so wear what you feel fits you best.

Its my own experience that guys do notice...they like a girl with nice hands...the whole color thing i don't really know how much that actually matters!
