Neither. George Washington already owns that title.

A female. There are not enough african americans to determine the outcome of an election in this country, but there are enough females. Also, those knucklehead republican white men usually have strong-willed wives telling them what to do, so those women could easily decide the outcome of the next election if they put gender ahead of party politics.

Either way, I think we all lose unless the african american or female who wins the next presidential election is an independent.

It depends on the candidate. However, I believe that America is ready for a female president or a president whose ancestors came from Africa, Asia or Central/South America. But it depends on the candidate.

Personally, I think Hillary Clinton will have a difficult time in a national election, because there is not much of an "undecided" section of the population with respect to her or her candidacy. Most people either like her or dislike her very much. With respect to Obama, I think his youth and inexperience will work against him, more than his ancestry. Most of our recent presidents have served as governors (GW Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter). Obama has not had an opportunity to demonstrate such leadership. I think he will lose in a close primary in 2008, but then gain his party's nomination in 2012 or 2016.

Well I would say most of the time a woman. This election coming up however, I will have to go with the African American. The fact is Obama is young and very inexperienced. The thing is he like Bill Clinton did is able to talk and make people believe him. Hillary, ever time she opens her mouth you feel that see is either lying or being snotty about something.

That is a great question I think maybe the African American... only because the call for racism could be so strong.. and rightfully so.

The woman.. well, we are still fighting the battle of sexism.. men let us pretend they are ready to let us lead.. but they are so afraid still.

Female. Obama is amazing has has great ideas, but he's not experienced enough yet. He's only been a part of the Federal government since '04.

Hillary, however, knows our government better than the Founding Fathers. She knows what to expect in 2008. She knows how to handle it. She knows what she needs to do. We need her!!!
