LL Cool J (sex symbol and nothing more, I have pity for those who think he beat Canibus, go listen to Canibus's song again, straight fire)
Tupac (because you can be overrated and good at the same time, but Tupac was a poet in the beginning and sold his soul to Suge Knight and became a thug.)
Biggie (Still very good, but no one is the greatest of all time with only two CDs)
Lil' Wayne (He's got moments, but nowhere near enough moments to justify being called the GOAT. The people who call him the GOAT are the same that think the Hot Boys made good music.)
KRS-One (Because for awhile he was dope but nowadays all he does is tell everyone else that he is hip-hop and they are all wack if they don't respect him, he has become very one-dimensional).
Only the overrated, there are WAY too many underrated rappers, and I'm sure nobody wants to read any more, since I've already called the most beloved rap figures on the site overrated.
Oh and Richard, JUICE is a much, much better freestyler than Eminem. Don't believe me? Ask Eminem, because JUICE beat him in a freestyle battle.

overrated
1. jim jones- cmon we know this guy can't rap, he just claims to be 'ballin'
2. mims- hes not hot
3. shop boyz- i don't get how party like a rock star is considered authentic hip hop; its just so redundant
4. 50 cent- please, hes not a rapper, hes a business man
5. hurricane chris- a rap usually has more than 2 different words.
underrated
1. common- this guy's a great lyricist, and he has some nice albums under his belt. he has some great joints with other rappers, like mos def n kweli, etc.
2. talib kweli- another poetic rapper. he's like the new nas to me
3. the game- this guy's great. great lyrics/beats, but everything went down fer him after his beef. if this guy stayed in (or away) from g-unit, he would still be very popular today.
4. immortal technique- this guys is a KILLER lyricst. he might not be signed to any label, but his music is what rap is really about- its poetry of the streets.
5. jedi mind tricks- they're pretty hardcore. but no one knows them -__-

1. Jeru the Damaja (please listen to his CD's and dispute me)
2. Chuck D (no one puts this guy in their top rappers of all time.........why?)
3. Guru (people think he's good mainly because of DJ Premier's production, but listen to his first Jazzmatazz album, its the bomb. And he produced it without Premier's help)
4. Styles P. (Jadakiss gets all the hype but Styles P is very good in his own right)
5. Canibus (alot of people say he's underrated but his albums have been less than stellar, mostly thanks to sub par production but also his writing. he has potential to be so much better)

Gonna say one thing....Most Underrated is....Eminem
...Not enough people give enuf credit to Slim, Right behind Pac, he is the best rapper to walk this earth and In terms of freestyle skill there is no one that comes close.
