There are a lot of internet business models you could consider of (e.g. buying and selling domain names, affiliate marketing, auctions, selling digital or physical products, creating paid newsletter or websites and many more).

With a proper system setup and correct web marketing strategies, you could start to earn some passive income. Find out from: http://www.income-internet-business.com/Internet-Business-Model.htm

No one can tell YOU what kind of business to start. You have to decide what interests YOU and what YOU might be good at doing. You can learn about business opportunities by doing some good research. One good suggestion is turnkey types of businesses such as a franchise--they can be pricey though. A fast food franchise, sandwich shops, etc. might be good. Coffee houses with entertainment can be fun, but lots of work and tough to establish. Maybe work to find a partner or two or a group to go into business with so that you can put your money to work in a bigger setting. Bottom line is there are so many opportunities but you have to find one or two that fit your needs, wants, and abilities. Nonetheless, keep a positive attitude, work hard, keep learning and most of all good luck, I wish you success.

Before you try a franchise, work for one and see if you like it. Check this out for some ideas:
http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchise500/index.html

I have a relative that bought a small business cleaning franchise like Jan-Pro or Jani-King. You can start this for $3k-50k. (Do something others don't like to).

The franchise will help you get customers just tell them how much monthly you want to make. You can start out part time in the mornings, evening or weekends. Plus you don't have to buy a lot of inventory or have a store front and the overhead (read "expenses") associated. Just clean businesses after hours, the home market is more competitive and you make less money.

Once you start you can hire some students or retirees at $10/hr you make the difference (give them a 1099 tax form). You can then inspect and build your business managing the contracts.

There are plenty of other ideas there as well, so find something that interests you. Try it out first, before you spend $50k and buy something - only to find out later you don't like it. It will be a mess trying to get out later and you might loose your shirt on the deal.

A program similar to those you can get into fairly inexpensively and buy more contracts later once you determine its something you want to do.

That's a vague question! What do you like to do? What kind of service oriented business do you want to do? Put together a business plan. I have no idea what your strengths are and what you enjoy to do. Most people who become very successful often build business from their passions. What are your passions?

Maybe you should open up a Dunkin Donuts business, nowadays, people are addicted to it and in my town they make the most money.
Good Luck! =]
