What are some tryouts going on for any theatre shows, television, or movies that are in relation to the New England area?

If you know of any, do they require experience in acting? Would you need an agent, if necessary?

Thanks

I don't know of anything specifically, but you won't need an agent. Not yet at any rate. Your first step is to get your headshots done. You should be able to find a reputable photographer who can do your shots with makeup for no more than $400. Probably a lot less. Then you'll need to have your shots printed, which should include the resume on the blank side. If you have no experience in acting to put on a resume, you'll want to start with either local theater/community college or see if there is a local extras agency that you can work for. These place usually require either no headshot or else a simple photo of your face. Be careful not to fall for any scams. If an agency wants to charge you money for ANYTHING other than if they have an on-staff photographer, leave and don't come back.

If you dont know if any and you dont know how to find them, you are obviously very inexperienced. So what you need to do is get more experience. Better try an acting school and keep your eyes and ears open and learn something. People with little experience do not walk into tryouts and get parts unless they are very very skilled or very very beautiful.

You'd need to check the papers for that information. Thank you
