That kind of sounds like Bush's plan. Only with war instead of new furniture and a car.

If your pay just got cut by 20%, the first question to ask is "Is my boss planning on getting rid of me next month?"

You never want to pile up debt when you don't have to. That's what a lot of people forget, and now they've helped start the Stock Market Crash of 2007.

That sounds like some sound American logic. Buy now pay later. Charge up those credit cards. Keep the economy float through consumer spending. Your country is counting on you. It would be unpatriotic to live within your means. Must keep up with the neighbors after all.

I love sarcasm. Let me guess, the owner is a republican. I wouldn't be surprised, if they could get away without paying workers they would. Hording is in their blood. But what they fail to understand it that, when the end comes, they can't take it with them. None of us can. What is the use of amassing large sums of goods, when in the end it's lost.

While you're at it, buy a new house too. Make sure you get one of those balloon mortgages (do it now while the interest rates are still reasonable). When the rates go up and you get foreclosed on, we'll blame it on Bush.

The government will pull you out. I'll get to 'donate' some of my taxes because of your stupidity.

But wait, you're really NOT a lib, are you?

hehehe

It's not a bad idea, but the classic thing to do in situations like that or fully losing one's job is to take a vacation.

Bon voyage!

Sure! Make it a gas-guzzling Hummer though because our current energy policy will give you a nice, big rebate.

No play it safe and why did he do that and you need to look around for a better job...Or if it was your fault he did that then correct that problem.

No.

Tell your job to kiss your kiester and get another job.

Debt is bad unless it is to buy a house or go to school.

I think it is a good bankruptcy plan. Personally, I would spend my free time boning up my resume or taking classes. I'd be marketing myself for my next job.

But it's your life, and you get to live with your choices, so enjoy.

ADDED: When you are talking about government spending, it has been proven countless times that you cut the deficit by cutting social spending. Sorry, libs.
