We have still accomplished 66.66666666% of our stated goals in Iraq?

U.S. President George W. Bush claimed that the objective of the invasion was "to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction,to end Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people."

There you have it. I have ended the debate so you all can drop it and get along.

Marines are brain-dead, so is G. Bush.
1) If there was never any WMD the Iraq government could not be disarmed. Faulty logic = failure.
2)Yes the USA accomplished this and hundreds of other guy's stepped up too fill the void. Attacking a symptom rather than the problem=faulty logic=failure.
3)The Iraq's are willing slaves too god they do not want freedom. Assuming western values are transferable=faulty logic=failure. Three strikes your out loser.

Disarm of Iraq of weapons of mass destruction:
---> We haven't found any

End Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism:
---> We have yet to prove any link

Free the Iraqi people:
---> Do you call what Iraqis have today 'freedom'? From what? To what?

I pray that you come back home in one piece.

Here's the thing... Saddam is dead. He's been dead for a while now. So what are we still doing in Iraq? Why are we still wasting our time there when we need to be hunting for the real terrorists?

Iraq was never a threat to America. They didn't attack us once. Bush just wanted to finish what his father couldn't. As we know now, he can't finish it either.

So now what? Do we stay there forever? Do we continue to waste billions and have hundreds of thousands killed? That's his agenda.

Check your math. Saddam did not have weapons of mass destruction, Saddam had nothing to do with AlQuaeda, 911, or terrorism, if Iraqis were free today there would be no reason for us to still be there. That adds up to a big ZERO.

i am still acting under the premise that this forum is for posting

so here it goes - while you were away or not reading or watching the news or following the UN inspection it was proven

THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION

ok so now it is ok for this discussion to end.

o and while you were not watching the attacks or after math of 9/11 it was claimed the terroits were saudis.

ok - now we can end this discussion

one more thing it was annouched today the US will be suppliing weapons to saudi arabia and surrounding countries - and if you had not followed the news regarding our training and arming bin lauden - then i will catch you up on this. - we did it so he could defend afganistan from russia.

ok free lesson in current events - teach your children well.

and and while i am at it - i wish you well and hope you are reunited with your community and family soon.
peace

True true. They also forget that Saddam has used WMDs in the past so clearly he did have them at one point. Considering we gave him months of warning he probably moved them.

Well, Sadaam is dead.. He disarmed them from the weapons that didn't exist and I suppose they're free, just as long as they're not outside after 10 pm.. Hard to disagree with that..

No. Terrorists are thriving in Iraq and are a threat to America.

Iraqi Terrorists are still supporting terrorism.

This will be a long war and will demand your sacrifice.

I support a re-surge and end to "home-time" until the fight is finished. A four year tour at minimum is the least sacrifice.
