If you are talking about Bonds all the baseballs used in the game to pitch to him have an identifying mark so it can be identified if he hits a homerun.

I have a B Bonds homreun ball that has his autograph on it after he hit it in the game. It is encased, I can't remember if it has the HR# or not.
