He does not like both legal and illegal immigration. On one of his shows, he said that he's against issuing the H1B visas(visas for skilled workers) too.

I think he's a great man, and he's doing the country a great service. He is unafraid to speak out against the idiocy of the Bush administration, on all the issues where they have gone awry, but he's not partisan, either. I remember he used to be a Republican before he became an Independent. His position on immigration is more complicated than what you say - basically, he wants to protect our borders in a time of security problems, and to protect American jobs in a time of economic uncertainty. More than anyone, he stopped the moronic amnesty bill, and he temporarily stopped the Dubai ports deal, until the powers that be went around the Congress. That's a lot for one guy, even one with a TV program.

He's an excellent human being who tells it like it is.

By the way, A surgeon general's report in 2006 that called on Americans to help tackle global health problems has been kept from the public by a Bush political appointee without any background or expertise in medicine or public health, chiefly because the report did not promote the administration's policy accomplishments, according to current and former public health officials.

Three people directly involved in its preparation said its publication was blocked by William R. Steiger, a specialist in education and a scholar of Latin American history whose family has long ties to President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

Steiger, 37, is a godson of former president George H.W. Bush and the son of a moderate Republican who represented Wisconsin in the House and hired a young Dick Cheney as an intern. The elder Bush appointed Steiger's mother to the Federal Trade Commission in 1989.

That is false, Lou has no problem with legal immigration. He's the only talking head that I know of who goes after either party. We would have not known about the Dubai Ports deal, the railroading of Compeon and Ramos the border guards the outsourcing of American jobs or the governments absolute refusal to do anything to secure our borders. We need more like him, that's my opinion.

He's awesome because he's the only person who covered the abomination that is the North American Union; which installs complete open borders between Mexico, America, and Canada, a megahighway to accompany it, and the Omero currency. It's just the next step to globalization and the f***ing New World Order. i can see it now "We are at war with Eurasia, we have always been at war with Eurasia."

i think he has a very clear vision of out minimized the American people and economy is becoming.

first we have been dismantled by outsourcing and now we are being attacked w/in by illegal immigrants - but separate from the economics of it - in case you were not aware we are fighting a war based on the threat of terrorism - and because of this war our Constitution has be stripped and during this war we have an open border.

so before you yell discrimination - use some real real real real basic logic.

I've watched Lou Dobbs and I've heard him several times saying it's not legal immigration he's against.
So I don't know what you're talking about.
He's for closing our borders and I agree with him.

Calls it as he sees it. Right now I think he's the most honest man in this country. He has never said anything against LEGAL immigration.

He speaks the truth!!! He's not against legal immigration. He's putting into words what the majority of Americans -those who are not planning to destroy the country by becoming richer and richer- are thinking.

He's fair and I agree with most of what he says.

I am an immigrant myself.. LEGAL immigrant and US citizen.

He's quite successful because he's got his finger on America's palse. I'm not sure if he comes up with his own ideas, or if CNN staff have a meeting to decide what are popular things to do for the shows. In any case, I like him and agree with what he says. But you know, these are just TV people doing shows. I'm sure he himself knows what he is and what he is not.
