You bet you can. And I'm guessing you'll only be pulling a light garden trailer or something of that size and nature not the family travel trailer. Three pieces of 2 or 3 inch angle or channel would be heavy enough. If you know someone that has one already or can go to a dealership to see where and how they mount it would be of help. So you can bolt not weld to your vehicle. And you go for it. We'll be watching, you may well be the next Jesse James!!

Trailer Hitch For Atv

Yes you can make your own, and it's certainly nice to see a young person who can fabricate. It's been a very long time since I've seen anyone who can do anything beyond using scissors. Consider this too Zac. The hitch assemblies that you buy are already stress tested and are guaranteed to be safe with in the load limits specified on the label. Good luck.

Sure, no problem.
Here's some pictures of ATV hitches to give you an idea on where and how to mount it.

well i am glad to hear your fabrication spirit. yes you can. it all depends on your atv and where you can secure it to the frame. just find somewhere and then get some steel and weld it up. good luck.

Here's an easy one rope or cables, just tie them to the utility rack(that is, if you have one)

But seriously, is that little thing even able to pull anything?
