He knows it too!!!! He's right. America will NEVER let it happen. I'm in love with that man right now. He stated what I've been saying all along.
Europe is trying to pull themselves out of a jamb and the Dems are proposing that we head straight into one.

I have news for Romney, people are ready for a change & that does not mean just a new person in the White House, that means a different party altogether! People have seen enough of how the Republican Party has fought every move the Democrats have tried to make in Congress & the Senate, the are Party loyal, thus they still support the Republican President. Enough is enough. Move over & give another party a chance, if they can't do a better job than is now being done, then toss the bums out in the next election! There is an election every four years, when you don't see the changes that are needed being sought, then show them the door!

I know Romney has been busily measuring the Oval Office for a grand throne on par with some of those found in the middle ages, so he's not exactly one to talk about complaining about Democrats measuring the place for carpeting and drapes.
And considering how well that line worked for Bush when Congress switched hands last year, you would've thought Romney would have bought a better speech.

Romney's a freaking idiot. He's got to do something to get some attention I guess. He's been doing measurement for drapes in his own head ever since he changed his moral stances in the space of few months to appeal to the GOP as a viable candidate.

Considering how the last Congressional election went, I'd say there's as good a chance Romney is wrong as that he's right. Maybe a better chance.
Especially considering how close the last two presidential elections were.

I don't think the country could stand another term under a republican administration. I have never seen people so freaked out about government as they have become under the Bush administration. They've lost the trust of most Americans.

No. Look at what the Republican pundits were saying in 1990. They were sure that the Republicans would hold on to the White House for a long time. At the time Bush Sr. was more popular than Junior is now.

Romney is indulging in wishful thinkiing. Americans are not just sick of Bush's war. They are sick of the dishonesty, bigotry, and corruption of the neoconservatives.
Including, such BS as claiming anyone who dares to dissent with their narrow-minded agenda is "leftist--" or whatever label they happen to be in the mood to use to ridicule anyone who dares to execerize their right to disagree.
In sshort--America is rejcecting the right-wing neoconservatives--not just Bush and his war.
