Yes, I have some that I wear in inclement weather when on horse back . When its cloudy and a chance of rain it covers me , the saddle and the horses back and shoulders. The only thing really showing is their head. The horse doesn't mind and we can continue on to where ever we are going . These are extra wide ponchos with hoods and made out of wool , they are very warm and water resistant.They pack easily into a saddle bag because they are light weight.

Ponchos are kool. They might not be a fashion statement but they keep the freakin' rain off of you. And I also made one when I was 7 out of wool. I still own it so who gives a crap if people are hatin.

No, I do not like to wear them and no, I do not own one... I think the only time I wore one was in Disney when it was raining... even then I'm not even sure if I wore that hideous yellow cape.

I own about eight, but they went wwwaaaayyy outa style before I could where all of them more than a few times.
Now, I'm not a style freak, I just know when something is way out there.

I will have to admit they aren't real stylin', but sitting in outdoor bleachers, in a blizzard, watching a fb game in November, they are a pretty good thing to throw on over your parka. Better to feel good than look good in that situation.

They were in a few years ago in our area. I had just given birth had extra pouch to hide and breastfeeding baby. They worked but now just sit in my closet.
