Nvidia 7900 and 8600, which one is better?

for laptop. what's the pros and cons against each other. thanks.

matters which 7900 and which 8600. 7900GTX will stomp a 8600GT The 8600GTX barely beats the 7900GS.

By far the 8600 is the better card, but with the newer cards comes a higher price tag, and most likely a warmer laptop.

get the 8600. nvidia 8000 series cards are dx10 supported, so they can play next-gen games.
