Hey, my boyfriend and I were making out and he ejaculated. There were four layers of clothing in between us (panties, pants, jeans, and boxers); is it possible for the sperm to travel through that many layers of clothing? I've tried to research the matter, but there seams to be a lot of unreliable information out there. In addition, I've taken six pregnancy tests, all of which have come back negative. The last pregnancy test was taken at a little over 7 weeks after the incident and, like I said, it came back negative. I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms. Why am I still worried? It doesn't seem very logical, but I can't stop thinking about it!

First of all you are probably not pregnant, stop worrying. But I would like to clear some myths that were left in other answers. Sperm just doesn't die as soon as it hits the atmosphere. It depends on the temperature of the environment and even still it does not die until the liquid around it dries up. Secondly, you can get pregnant from just contact but it is only if the sperm comes into direct contact with the vagina and even then the chances are like 1 in a million. Just relax and be more careful next time!!!

Number one, if you can't answer this question for yourself, you shouldn't even be making out with someone yet. You obviously are very uninformed about sex and pregnancy. No... you are not pregnant. The sperm has to ENTER your body to get to an egg. Pretty much... if it doesn't go directly into your vagina, there is no chance your pregnant. The sperm will die before it ever begins to get anywhere near you. Quit worrying and taking pregnancy tests, and for Gods sake quit screwing around!!!

Deep down your probably terrified of being pregnant. I mean you have every right to be scared. But it was 4 layers of clothing and if it wasn't near your vagina, sperm usually dies in 30 minuets as soon as it hits the air.

4 layers is a lot! And the negative tests point to not pregnant. Try to relax.
If you're ready for sex with your boyfriend, then get some protection before you do it.

I would say the chances are zero to nil. Your worried for no reason, you would know by now and those would have had to be some mutant sperm to get through all that and then swim upstream. Don't worry!

You can't get pregnant that way hun, plus the pregnancy tests show negative. I think you are maybe worried about becoming pregnant thats why you keep thinking about it.

I would try four layers of birth control instead.Go to a clinic. It's cheaper than a few dates a month.

No, don't even worry about it. Sperm dies within seconds of leaving the body. There is no way you are pregnant.
