i want to cacth a corn snake at silvan lake in alberta

The native range of corn snakes does not extend to Alberta.

Leave wild animals where you find them. They are much happier that way. Go buy a captive bred one if you really want one, they will run you between $30 and $80 depending on the color of the snake.

I would just buy one because wild snakes tend to be mean
