I hope not. He's been a "girly man" governor in California. He doesn't stand by his principles. He'd be a terrible president.

There is another angle on this. It's already happening now. NO, he cannot. HOWEVER, his best friend, and running buddy, is the Governor Of Ny City. He can run for President on the independent ticket, AND Arnold CAN be Vice-President. On the independent ticket, both parties can vote for them. Once they get in, anything is possible. IF the President falls ill, Hello Arnie. Tag team.

I'm not betting on it. It takes too much and to long to change something like that even if they could. The Republicans are scorned now for what they have done in the legislation in the last 6 years. Trying to pull this off in the near future would get them tared and feathered sure enough.
That said ,I think he would make a good president.

amendments to the constitution usually take a REALLY long time to get through.

considering it needs 2/3 of the house and 2/3 of the senate AND 38 state legislatures to pass it?

arnold doesn't stand a chance.

keep in mind also--he doesn't have the money right now. he's so far behind in fundraising that he wouldn't have a prayer against giuliani or romney.

sorry to let you down but there will not be any change to let Arnold run for president he is not a natural citizen so is not able to run if there was an amendment it would be to allow a president to run for three terms and Bush would be in for another four years his sponsors are bigger

If he does succeed in getting the rules changed, he'll run as a Democrat, which is what he is, really on everything but a few economic issues. Ah-nuld is a RINO- Republication In Name Only-and the conservative base of the Republican party won't touch him! Run, Fred, Run!!!!!!!!!!

No. There is no way to get an ammendment to the Constitution through that quickly. Damn shame, if anyone wants my opinion.

No you have to be and SHOULD HAVE TO BE born here in order to lead this country. Arnold sucks anyways. He's another one getting his pockets stuffed by big businesses.

It better never happen.

I would certainly loose all respect for the laws of our country.
