I'm not sure I get the sense that he is being railroaded. I think clearly he is being dishonest. The big question is does he even realize it. Tell lies oten enough and they become the truth. I wonder if anyone in the Bush Administration even knows the difference between truth, fiction and what's right and what's wrong.

And really, why bother lying. Gonzales should just state the truth as he knows it, admit to what they actually did and ask the question..."what part of it is illegal???".

So far, I can't see what they have done that is actually against the law. I don't agree with it and think it is reprehensible behavior, but unfortunately, they have the authority do to what they did in the firing of the 9 attorneys.

Now of course, if Gonzales continues to commit perjury...well then we have something we can actually charge the schmoe with.

If Gonzo is being railroaded, its only because he was on the wrong track to begin with.

I find it quite odd, that people call investigation into his attempt at getting a drugged man to sign off on something that was declared unconsitutional when Clinton attempted it, as a witch hunt to bash liberals. Almost as if republicans, are pro-big government.

I Thinks its alittle of both, there are things that have been left out that (Democrats) can and will construe as being dishonest, which hes really leaving things out. And he is being rail-roaded by (Democrats). So, two part question, two part answer, yes & yes.

"Freddo" Gonzales has done more to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America than anyone in US history.

he's just your average political Democrat punching bag. although many on both sides had problems with what he did, he was not acting outside of his authority. Reno cleaned house, all fired, but no one mentions that fact.
