If you don't like them, vote them out of office!
Actually that can't work well. If it did, Ted Kennedy would have been gone LONG ago.
I don't like term limits, but with the popularity of today's Congress, it would assure a change.
It would most certainly remove the "Career" Politician from the picture. Such office was intended to be held by those who wish to perform a public service to our nation, not profit them personally.
Maybe we can couple term limits with a law that prevents them from personal benefit as a result of their "services".
If they want a career in politics, let them apply for jobs working in the offices of (or for) elected (no longer permanent) politicians. That way, they would have to continulaay "earn" their positions.
