I don't think they're cheating. It just means that they were helpful to a lot of people.

They're intelligent and very helpful. Or they made 4 accounts and have 3 of them vote for the 4th as best answer constantly.

In any subject except P&S I would think they are well versed in that subject. In P&S they either have a great sense of humor and a quick wit or a number of friends that vote for them.

that's because we rock. actually its pretty cool. i never gave it much thought my only concern is getting back to my level 7 status. i got deleted but on this new journey i pick up top contributor status in mathematics and my best answer % is 36%.
