I'm trying to figure out the difference in time between Central and Scotland, UK.
If I'm in Tennessee and Central time, and it is 7:11 PM right now, what time would it be in the U.K.?

Geographically, Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time) and Central Time are 90 degrees or six hours apart, but for some reason Europe is one hour ahead of its geographical time for most of the year, making the difference seven hours - unless Central Time is on Daylight Savings, then it's back to six hours again - unless the UK goes back to standard time when the difference would then be five hours!

You got the answer but, in the future, it'd probably be quicker using the phonebook since there's usually a map with the time boundaries. Atlases and calendar scheduling books also usually have one.
