There's a place in Mexico, in the desert, named Matehuala. I've always thought that's the perfect place to disappear.

I love to make road trips to the north of my country because of the fact I'll be around Matehuala.

Only my home? I would stay here in beautiful city of Oporto -Portugal. If the whole country disappeared, I'd either go to Italy- maybe Florence or Milan, or Spain- Barcelona. I wouldn't go to America, I enjoy my freedom too much to exchange it for everything good that I'm sure the USA has to offer.

This happened to me on 9/11 and I moved to Israel with a guy I just met. This exemplifies the great need we have for a personal place of refuge.

Right now, I haven't much of a permanent home to lose--and this makes me feel insecure--but if I lost this place too...I'd stay with my parents or my best friend. If I was really courageous, I'd just say F it...and move to India...
