I'm a distributor...I normally buy a pack of something for .65 cents a unit. The pack contains 24 individually wrapped units which costs me $15.60 per pack of 24. Remember, each pack has 24 individual units at .65 cents each (my cost)

Now I have been getting a deal since I have been ordering in larger quantities so now the pack costs me $14.04 which breaks down to .585 cents per unit.

How much would you suggest that I sell a pack for?

I'm asking for suggestions as to how much I should mark up these items...

I'm a food distributor...I need to know how much to sell each pack to the stores that I sell these items to for...Please give me suggestions...

For high volume busineses, you should mark up 30-60%. For small businesses, at least 50%.

The demand might drive the answer to the question but, I would try to supply something that I could mark up by 50-100% or higher.

It really depends on what the item is and how much the customer will pay for them. Take a look at some of the store's and see what they sell them for. They mark up too. It wouldn't hurt to ask them what they got them for and explain to them your interest and why. It is called research.
Good luck.
