In esscense, I AM a teacher! I teach my kids as often as they will listen! My 5 year old daughter knew her ABC's completely(reading letters at random, included!)by the time she was 22 months old. She could count to 10 by 18 months, and 20 by the time she was 2.5 years old. My almost-18 m.o. son can count to nine. I'm sure he COULD count to ten, but he really likes that he can say "Nieeen" clearly. When I sign the ABC's(w/ American sign language) he tries really hard to immitate.
If I could get payed to teach professionally, I think I would want to help to teach basic social skills to preschool children.

Math or science. But I think I would like to teach gym class. You get to play games all day icluding the parachute game which I think is so cool. Art class is always cool to.
