can anybody tell me how to read fast aswell as understand what i'm reading?

I'm a natural fast reader... I'm not exactly sure how I do it. I'll try to give you a few tips, though.

1. I've never done it, but several of my friends have taken speed reading courses. They all said the course helped their reading speed tremendously.

2. If you're reading for pleasure, I'd suggest just reading at your natural speed so you can get the most enjoyment out of the book.

3. If you're reading a book for a class or something, try to focus on a few sentences or a paragraph at a time, instead of a single sentence. Ignore words like 'and' or 'the' and try to pick out the keywords that really matter. Most of the time, these are proper nouns (like someones name) or longer words. Train yourself to look for these.

4. Practice, practice, practice!

well i am a fast read.345 words per minute.anyways read careful.practice reading everyday.but read very hard books like the great gatsby and so on.if you don't understand something go back and read it again.

you have to practice reading so you can go faster after a while, or you can buy books with audio. Youll keep up and youll here what it says

Practice. Thats all there really is. Read outloud if it helps you. Just practice. And anyways, just enjoy what you are reading.

the only way to get faster and still have good comprehension is to pratice and read a lot but also increase your vocabulary, It will help you in speed and comprehension (understanding)

there isn't really any way to do this except keep reading. the more you practice, the faster you get :)
