They have been around for years. It is a can filled with compressed air and a liquid sealant to fix the tire. It is made to help you in a roadside emergency. Then you are supposed to get the tire fixed permanently at a tire shop.
Fix a flat is one of the brand names. Check with an auto parts store, I'm sure they have them for sale. good luck.

It's called fix a flat and is good for 50 miles. You need to tell the mechanic who fixes the tire that you put it in, so they can be careful when they take it off the rim.

One brand is Fix-a-Flat. Yes, it should be used only as a temporary measure because it tends to collect on the low side of a tire and affects the balance.

DO yourself and the tire tech that changes or fixes the tire a favor. Don't use that stuff, doesn't work well half the time, not worth the money, and the poor tire tech has to clean it all up. It smells like spoiled milk or vomit.

the amazing thing people don't realize is for the price of that can that doesn't work most of the time you can go to a tire shop (like firestone, tires plus, etc.) and have the tire patched the correct way. and most places won't patch a tire that's been slimed because it takes forever to clean the inside of the tire out to get the glue to activate with the rubber inside of the tire.
do yourself a favor and get it patched.

avoid them products like crazy they are nothing but trouble. after useing you will have vibrations, most likely still have a leak, some of the products are flamable, if the vehicle has the pressure sensors in the wheels it will destroy them and they run between $50 and $500 ea here in michigan. the most common products i have dealt with unfortunatly are fix-a-flat and slim. all them products are in reality are marketing scams. save your money and buy a small portable air compressor. unless you like to make anyone who works on your tires ever severly anoyed.
