The end of the world to me. I feel worthless compared to girls who do have boyfriends. Is this normal?

You spent years without a boyfriend, and you did just fine. Don't stress about it. It is normal to want to be like your peers. But you are not the only person without a boyfriend. Relax. Take the time to learn about yourself and what you like/dont like. Will help out in the long run.

Good luck.

If you just recently broke up, this will eventually change. Right now is as bad as that feeling will get. Its all up hill from here on out. In a while you will feel free and you will notice certain things that you can do now, that you couldn't do before. Don't "get a boyfriend" just to try to make that feeling go away. That's called being desperate. I'm sure that you are a great person, and you do not NEED a boyfriend, whether you believe it or not.

I think honestly it's because you're young (I don't know your age), and it might also be an insecurity issue. I remember being young and worrying so much about not having a boyfriend, and the longer I stayed on my own, the more I learned who I was and what it was I wanted from a boyfriend and why. I'm in my mid 30s and in a wonderful relationship, but even if I wasn't, I would be just fine by myself. One can only understand that if they know who they are and what it is they're looking for, you know?

Well they have something you want. Focus on yourself for now. Don't settle for any old guy that comes along just to have a bf. Be picky.

Date around some before you pick a guy. But don't sleep around.
