They actually think you're a pinko commie if you don't support Bush spending 567 Billion buckeroonies on a useless, corrupt war that's resulted in over 600,000 deaths and America's loss of reputation around the globe.

And if you support Bush's abomination in Iraq and his inept governance of the U.S.... you're a real American and patriot.

What the heck are those people drinking?

That doesn't make you a liberal. It makes you a fiscal conservative. Bush is a social conservative and a fiscal liberal with a new twist. Instead of tax and spend, he spends and doesn't tax.
The federal government is spending $7.9 billion per day, seven days a week. That's over $26 per day for every man, woman, and child in the country. That is over double the cost of government per person of 30 years ago adjusted for inflation.

I would say that the label of liberal probably came about based on how you addressed the "massive deficit spending" that has gone on for decades by making it all evil George's fault. Government spending is out of control, we need to reduce taxes to further energize the economy and lift tax reciepts then CUT SPENDING. Domestic spending has gone out of control.

No, I because I don't speak out against it. I am not a radical, or a liberal. I am a Democrat that thinks ragging on the president does no good.

I agree Chi guy, he has spent like a drunken sailor, but probably half of it was homeland security, and the war, those sure aren't cheap. but he could have cut allot of corners in other areas. But am also sure the Democrats would have had a field day if he cut anything they didn't want to lose, and almost everything the dems don't want to lose, or be cut.

I take it as a compliment, too. And it also reminds me exactly why I'm not a Republican.

Oops, I thought that was a conservative thing--I'll keep doing it anyway, though. :)

Edit: Wow, look at the thumbs down for saying that wanting to cut spending is a conservative thing.
