The Romantic Era in Music from about 1797- at least 1857 for music because the majority of Operas and Classical music were written then. Chopin, Debussy, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff off, are just the iceberg of favorites.
The Impressionist Era for Art, which was mainly 1860-1900.
My favorite artists are Van Gogh, Renoir, Cassatt, Monet, Cezanne and Tissot.
The Impressionist Era is loved the world over as the favorite time for Art.
Have seen Izak Perlman (world famous violinist) in concert,
performing many classical works. The man is a genius.
Would have been just great to watch one of the painters or see a live performance.

When Joseph and Mary gave birth to the greatest man ever lived two thousand years ago, Jesus of Nazareth. How I wish I was there as a fourth king offering precious gift.
To witness the holy family...
To kneel down of His holiness as the greatest messenger of God.
To witness the journey of one family.....
of this One Child...
That changed the world forever.

I've always wanted to live in the '50s. Gender roles were clearly defined, crime was less rampant, it was a good, clean time in America.
I also have pictured myself living in the 1960s. That way I could be a part of the major movements of the time.

I'd love to go back to the 50s, to my childhood days, back to Cyrpus (where I was born.) Those were idealic days. My parents gave us (me and my sister) the best childhood. We used to go to the beach a lot, and I remember the drive to "Bashiammo" in Kyrenia so vividly. That beach was all sand, and mountains of it. We used to go to the Troodos mountains for holidays. My schooldays there were the best days of my life (apart from when I was going to see Cliff in the musical "Time", (which I saw 140 times!) In my dreams I'm always going back to our house in Nicosia, Cyprus (which alas has been turned into a hotel now!) Hopefully one day I shall return there.

oh for me it would be back in the Victorian Era. I love the homes from then, the clothing, the music, the feeling of someone important.
