I got called a freak earlier because I posted a question that referred to it being the evening, while for the answerer it was about 5pm. It's really not asking much for people to consider that the asker may be in a different time zone, but some people (not just Americans) can't seem to do that. I don't mind people pointing out the time difference as long as they are relatively polite about it, there really is no need to be rude.
