It burns a little when i urinate, it also burns real bad sometimes when I just sit in a certain way. It hurts to wear a tampon, I can't put anything in it really.

I went to the doctor for a UTI or yeast infection check, and It came clean. I don't have insurance so its sliding scale fee and they are really careless and lazy, and ignore my burning problem.

What else could it be from if not a UTI or yeast infection?

Vagisil created this new infection detector. Based on the vaginal ph, it determines what type of infection you may be experiencing. It could be a bacterial infection of some sort, but please try it. It is sold at Walgreen's and Wal-Mart.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Hi

Crazy remedy that works, is to drink 1 litre of cranberry juice every day for about a fortnight. This is a common ailment for many woman as its a urinary infection such as sististis that doesnt show up on tests. Give it a try and see how you feel. You might want to stick to cotton undies also during the fortnight and also keep away from partner too, just to make sure you are no passing it back and forth.

Let me know how you get on.

Go to the physician and have it checked. They will do a urine test for bacteria which is indicative of a UTI. Another wonderful new test you can ask for is called Affirm. It is a vaginal swab looking for candida (yeast), BV (bacterial vaginosis caused by Gardinerella, and trich. The turn around time for resulting is 24 hours or less.

even if you dont have any visible problems, if you havent had a pap in a while, you could have some abnormal cells, HPV can cause that as well as other genital diseases, just cause they say cervical cancer, it can appear on the outside of the vagina at the opening, or where else ever the ocntact may have occured from an infected person

well, i could be just a yeast. even though i have no clue of what a uti is, i'll still go to the clinic to check if you don't have any other infections. i could be a serious virus or just a bacterial infection, but you'll never know. i hope that this helps.

just go back to the doctor, never rely on someone you dont know to tell you about the health of your vagina, you only get to have one! :) and if you ignore any potential harm, you may regret it, if your doctor now says that nothing is wrong, see another doctor, or see an actuall GYN doc if you are not already. no price is too much to pay for your feminine health.

Maybe it's something that you're drinking. Apple Juice caused a problem like that for a friend of mine. Try drinking some cranberry juice. It's supposed to clean out your urinary track.
