Regardless of what Yankees fans want to believe, the Yankees just aren't that good. Their hitting is suspect as is their starting pitching. And come to think about it, any relievers not named Rivera are suspect also.

The Yankees do still have a chance considering the state of affairs in the AL. There really aren't any dominant teams that you can look at and say that team is going to win it all.

I am neither upset nor baffled. They aren't that good. Teams that aren't that good have a habit of not winning a lot and finishing out of the playoff race.

WIth their pitching staff sucking, it would be times like this that you would go to your well developed minor leagues and get some help, but if you have traded away those minors for mercenaries, you tend not to be able to do that.

They've turned a 14 1/2 game lead to 8. What did you expect?

Im upset about the first half of the season, but lately we have been playing pretty good. not good enough if we plan on catching boston or cleveland though. we need to start sweeping some series.

i think there just having a bad moment with there hitting because about 4 people looked at there third strike yesterday, i mean cmon you at least swing at the third strike. also we had a couple errors but all we need is time to get back i our groove. also jeffhardyfan Democrats always argue with each other and republicans always get the job done.

I think they are losing because they don't have any pitching. I mean cmon, if you have to sign Roger Clemens then you must have a problem with your pitching staff. I'm surprised the Giants didn't dign him, he would raise the average of there age, if thats possible...
